Gears of war 3 Beta review,

Right guys the blog is back and is going to be updated regularly again!

I will also be trying to mix it up and incorporate more of my interests in life..

So this entry is my first review on the Gears of war 3 Beta.

First impression
Okay so after waiting years to get back into gears since Gears of war 2 got repetitive (and quite frankly rubbish) I was more than a little excited to get myself onto this game. After keeping up to date on all news and photo leaks/game play leaks I had a rough idea what was in-store.

So with Bulletstorm epic edition in I fired up the Beta. The menu system is very refreshing and effective. I jumped into a couple public matches to see what was in store. My first impression in all honesty was that it was VERY Gears of war 2, could even call it a downloadable added content (don't stop reading here though, my views were soon changed).

The game play didn't feel very varied and didn't see many differences. Now enough with the doom and gloom I decided to team up with a mate and be more thorough and see what the game really has to offer. Well it didn't take long for me to change my mind! After being impatient I was soon shown the massive positive changes this game offered which the other series didn't offer.

The game play is very fluid and smooth, much better than previous. The guns are very varied and VERY fun, you will can master any weapon you like to your current situation.

On top of the smooth game play there is now added little touches in the game which smarten it up a lot such as the medals system. LOTS of unlockable items, new characters to play as AND breath taking graphics I really was in for a treat and was disappointed with myself for not giving the game more time from the start!

Im not going to give too much away because the Beta is only available for a small majority of people at the moment so when you do manage to get on the game, give it a chance as it really is a stunning bit of work!
