Tonight I went to see Saw 3D and thought I would do a little write up on it. To start off im a big Saw fan, having watched all of the films from the start. A lot of people feel they have stretched the series out too far and its getting repetitive but im still not bored so that's always a good thing!
Im not going to do a film critics review, just my opinions on the film as a whole.
Going into the start of the film I didn't see much potential at first, with no real Saw feeling to it. It didn't take long for this to change and back to its gory twisted ways.
The film features lots of innovative traps as always and in my opinion features probably the most cringe worthy scenes iv seen for the series, some of it I couldn't physically watch.
After hearing rumours for this film I was quite pleasantly surprised to find out they were not the case, meaning for a big twist at the end which, well im not going to ruin it for people who haven't seen the film.
The acting was disappointing, with the money the Saw franchise makes you would of thought it would of got some better actors, however they could of been a lot worse.
The plot was typical of the Saw series but kept me on my toes thinking what was going to happen next.
Overall I really enjoyed the film, a firm 8/10 from a Saw fans perspective. For viewers not too fond on the Saw series I doubt you will find this film in your top 10 films of all time, but for the fans I do recommend going to your local cinema and get watching!
